The Caddo Parish Fire District #1 (CPFD #1) is a vital combination paid/volunteer fire department serving the Shreveport, LA area and surrounding 174 square miles, including Blanchard city limits.

Founded in 1983, the district grew to provide comprehensive emergency services, expanding to include ALS ambulance services in 2004. CPFD #1 operates four manned stations and two unmanned stations, supported by over 35 paid personnel, numerous volunteers, and a Fire Prevention Bureau.

Our dedicated firefighters undergo rigorous training to respond effectively to all emergencies, including fires, EMS/Hazmat, high-angle rescue, vehicle extrication, and swift water rescue, ensuring we deliver the best possible emergency services to our community.
