The South Middlesex Opportunity Council (SMOC) is dedicated to social and economic justice, actively working to dismantle systemic racism and uplift the Black community. Amidst recent tragedies, SMOC is committed to action, establishing a Diversity, Access, Inclusion, and Equity Committee and offering staff workshops focused on addressing racial trauma.

SMOC provides vital services, including emergency housing assistance and a comprehensive COVID-19 resource guide for families. To support recovery, the organization has established the Margaret Fund, offering grants of up to $50 to unaccompanied single adults in supportive housing. We remain committed to providing inclusive support and resources for all community members.
