The Springfield Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) is the cornerstone of the Western Massachusetts Regional Recycling Program, serving over 70 communities across the four western counties of the state. Inspired by environmental stewardship, the MRF operates as a public service, supported by the Springfield Materials Recycling Advisory Board (MAB).

We strive to communicate the importance of regional recycling efforts and provide public resources, including meeting notices, agendas, minutes, and comprehensive Reduce Reuse Recycle Guides. We empower communities with the information necessary to promote sustainability and recycling initiatives.
