Argento, under Michel Galante, is an essential source for adventurous new music, pioneering world premieres by leading contemporary composers (like Murail and Lachenmann) and exciting emerging artists.

The ensemble has produced over thirty studio recordings released on labels such as Bridge and Aeon. Argento actively expands musical boundaries by collaborating with graduate students and co-producing the Moving Sounds Festival, which merges concert music with dance, architecture, and sound art. They also innovate by presenting works from 14th and 19th-century composers.
