The Portland VA Research Foundation (PVARF) is dedicated to enhancing the health of veterans of all generations through medical research and education at the VA Portland Healthcare System (VAPORHCS).

For 25 years, PVARF has partnered with VAPORHCS to develop a diverse research portfolio investigating ailments affecting veterans. We facilitate critical medical research by supporting the grant submission process (pre/post award). By leveraging the critical mass of scientists at VAPORHCS, PVARF provides the framework for leading research and education, ensuring that vital investigations into veteran health continue to advance medical understanding.
