Welcome to The Family Court of East Baton Rouge Parish, located in downtown Baton Rouge. This court, presided over by four judges, has jurisdiction over crucial family matters, including divorces, child custody, support, spousal support, child visitation, and domestic violence.

We are committed to accessible legal services, offering a Self Help Resource Center. Furthermore, we embrace modern procedures, facilitating electronic divorce hearings via Zoom. We provide guidance and support for remote case management, allowing for flexible scheduling and remote witness testimony. We are happy to work with you remotely, ensuring that you have flexible and efficient access to the legal support you need.
